Material Change Studio was born from a belief that the spaces we inhabit have the power to shape how we feel, work, gather, and live.

Before pursuing interior design, I spent my career in corporate communications within the financial services industry, where the concept of “material change” had a specific meaning: information significant enough to influence decisions and shape outcomes. I was responsible for helping organizations communicate those changes with clarity, context, and purpose. 

For years, I have been drawn to the transformative power of well-designed spaces and the way thoughtful details can elevate everyday living. Through Material Change Studio, I help clients create interiors that feel personal, functional, and enduring. Today, material change takes on a slightly different meaning in my work: thoughtful design choices, when made intentionally, can have a meaningful impact on how people experience the world around them. 

My design aesthetic blends warmth, simplicity, and character. I am inspired by natural materials, layered textures, and timeless elements that create spaces that feel collected rather than decorated. The result is an approach that balances beauty with livability, creating spaces that feel refined, welcoming, and uniquely reflective of the people who live, work, or play in them.
